The Ginexid line is formulated to act in an absolute delicate way and to maintaine the proper degree of vaginal acidity. Its efficacy is ensured by the presence of natural extracts, such as Hamamelis and Chamomile extracts, and Chlorhexidine digluconate. Hamamelis extract The tannins present in this extract exert a decongestant and protective action and give a perceptible sense of freshness on the skin. The toning, soothing and refreshing properties of hamamelis extract make it particularly indicated for the treatment of the delicate vaginal area.
Chamomile extract It acts in synergy with the Hamamelis extract in the protection of the vaginal mucosa. Moreover, thanks to its soothing and emollient action, it is especially indicated for the treatment of inflamed areas.
Chlorhexidine digluconate Used as a preservative of the formulation, it is a broad-spectrum antiseptic, active at very low doses and for very short contact times on aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, gram-positive and gram negative bacteria, yeasts and fungi. |
